Marissa began her modeling career at 4 years of age, showing up on Barbie boxes all over the world for toymaker Mattel. Her career in modeling made her a face to remember through countless print ads for some of the biggest names in retail.
In 2002, Marissa'a luminescent smile and radient personality landed her a role on the NBC television pilot "Kidsline". In 2004, Marissa chose to fine tune her talents by opting to attend Renaissance High School for the Arts in Long Beach, CA.
In her first stage audition, Marissa earned the lead role of Coco in the renowned, cult-classic hit, "Fame" (winner: Best Lead Actress, Best Vocalist). In March 2005, Marissa once again, floored theatregoers with her invigorating supporting role performance in the re-adaptation of the 1970s smash "Annie"(winner Best supporting Vocalist). In the Fall of 2005, Marissa won the lead role and played Jasmine in Alladin (winner: Best Vocalist). Early 2006 Marissa played the supporting role of the Fairy Godmother in Rogers and Hammersteins "Cinderella" (winner-Best Vocalist).
